( morgana meows again before stepping towards her, nuzzling into her hand. who is she, a sweet feline to resist good affection. especially if it helps her do a little snooping )
[ Eda pets over her head, scratching her ears ] Can't talk, huh? Guess you can't tell me why you're in my house, then. [ She shrugs. The cat seems harmless enough, not one of the Authority, and hopefully not some new terror cooked up by this place ]
( oh, that's a good ear scratch, morgana absolutely distracted by it, purring like she has no cares in the world.
but as much as she likes a good ear scratch she doesn't like it for too long, moving eventually away from eda's hand again, turning around to walk back over the table, pawing and nudging at what's there )
Alright, fine. [ Eda laughs a little, watching as she walks over to the books that are out. There's a high school textbook about biology, and then a book about magic that Eda found at the library. There's also cold cup of tea and three plates with crumbs on them. Really, nothing exciting there on the table. ]
( she doesn't even sniff at the crumbs, above fishing for crumbs, jumping down from the table before turning back around to leave the room. she's going to go find another room that's much more interesting )
[ Eda lets her go. She has something cooking anyway, but she tells the cat: ] Don't go breaking anything else.
[ She whisks a finger in the air, mending the broken bottle before turning back to the kitchen.
Next, Morgana will find the living room, where Hecate, Luz, and Eda were the other day. The room is eclectically decorated with Eda's wanted poster, pictures of Luz, tchotchkes that she's found. The furniture is old and worn, there's a 50s style TV that's on, but muted, and a few stacks of books. There's also some art on the coffee table, from Luz and Margot. ]

What, why do you wanna go in my room? You better not be after Owlbert. [ Eda eyes the cat suspiciously, but, after a moment, decides why the hell not, she can stop the cat from going after him if she needs to, and opens the door.
It is to her room. And what a room it is. It's dominated with a giant nest, which is clearly well lived in. There are more books, a lot with library stickers on them, as well as plants lining the large windows. In a corner is a cabinet with the door open, showing a large supply of gold potions, neatly bottled up. There are some shiny things around the room: a nice big mirror, a golden candle holder, the gem that Hecate gave her is on her dresser, which isn't very neat, some red clothing sticking out of the drawers.
There's nothing nefarious, really. A lot of things that humans would consider garbage, like clothes hangers and hub caps as art on the walls.
Owlbert is asleep in a smaller nest by the big nest, which begs the question of who is this big nest for? (It's Eda, it's Eda's nest) ]
( morgana meows again at the question, as if acknowledging it, a slow walk around the outside of the room as if looking for something.
before then jumping up onto the nest. she watches owlbert for a moment, meowing again but sits still, prim again, not particularly interested in him but curious )
( morgana stays for a moment, watching owlbert again. she stays quiet, not all that interested in him. or anything else in the house now that she's done her snooping.
it has morgana hopping down from the nest, starting to make her way back down the stairs to go back home. unless eda sees or owlbert gets her attention that kitty plans on leaving )
[ Owlbert follows her down the stairs and back to the kitchen, hooting softly to Eda, who's busy cooking and humming to herself again. ] Owlbert, try this. I think it's gonna be good.
[ She holds up a ladle for him, not noticing Morgana at all. ]
