don't get clingy

don't propose to them right away

don't move in with them right away

don't move in with them then make them do all your housework. seriously.

don't tell them that someone else's fancy house is your house only then the owner comes home and they're a minotaur that you used to date.

that one was rough.

don't expect them to be someone they're not. if you don't like who they are, don't date them, period.

did you put him in prison? then probably don't date him.

if he went to prison and you weren't involved? eh. law enforcement is the worst.

you already live together, well. havent been in that situation. it's a red flag if they move in with you right after you start dating, bad move. trust me on that one

well we started back when we were still best friends
he had died and i moved in to help him recuperate and then i just kind of never left

only problem there would be if you break up or something and then don't have anywhere to go to get away from him
if that happens, you can bunk at my place. we got some beds in the basement.

and we're both good at screwing stuff up
so we want to try avoiding that

just do what you want do. enjoy each other. break it off when it gets bad and try to be friends again

people weed themselves out pretty fast
you'll figure out the ones worth caring about
